Job Description
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Vice President of Environment, Safety, Health and Sustainability; ESH and Sustainability Directors; and the broader enterprise ESH and Sustainability organization in select administrative assignments.
The main responsibilities of this position include: Maintaining calendars in Outlook and ensuring scheduled meetings are updated and accurate with appropriate Teams link. Working and re-working complicated calendar scheduling. Providing prompt follow-up to meeting requests and correspondence. Responding quickly to last minute changes to meetings and logistics effectively to all parties. Working closely with Technical Assistants and Administrative Assistants across LM to schedule meetings and coordinate communication between executives. Preparing correspondence for VP and Directors. Managing organization charts and distribution lists. Preparing documents using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; managing electronic file storage in Sharepoint.
Providing calendar, meeting and travel support to the VP and Directors. Arranging air travel, hotels, and other transportation needs. Preparing expense reports in support of leadership and assisting the broader enterprise team with Concur issues.
Planning and coordinating enterprise meetings for the VP and Directors. Meeting support includes in-person, virtual and hybrid events; manage Microsoft Teams meetings across the team. For in-person and hybrid events support to include reserving of meeting space(s), arranging catering, completing badging/access requests or other associated items. Coordinating and supporting conference and event planning throughout the year and assisting enterprise team with meeting support for safety training, continuous improvement events, leadership meetings, and health and wellness meetings at LM facilities. Responsible for meeting card and procurement card purchase requests and invoice payments, shipping guidance and coordination of office supply needs.
The ideal candidate will be required to have extensive and recent experience providing efficient administrative assistant support to high level individuals in a fast-paced and highly visible organization and position. This position requires effective customer service skills and the ability to react and shift priorities quickly while remaining calm and efficient. Travel may be required.
There is a preference for the candidate to be located near Bethesda, MD headquarters site, with the opportunity to work on-site some days.

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
