We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team. This contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with diverse technologies and provide direct support to clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will excel in both technical problem-solving and client interactions, ensuring seamless IT operations and system functionality.
Responsibilities:
• Configure, install, and maintain Windows and Mac computers to meet client requirements.
• Monitor systems daily to ensure the integrity of hardware and service operations.
• Execute change requests for systems and services promptly and accurately.
• Research emerging technology trends to identify opportunities for improving client systems.
• Provide onsite and remote troubleshooting and technical support to resolve client issues.
• Install and maintain network equipment, such as routers, switches, and access points, ensuring optimal connectivity.
• Create and update documentation for tasks, procedures, and essential client system information.
• Collaborate with clients in detail-oriented environments to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• At least 3 years of IT support experience, preferably in a similar environment.
• Possession of A+ and/or Network+ certifications or equivalent knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision.
• Valid driver’s license to facilitate travel for onsite client support.
• Familiarity with PC desktop workstations, Active Directory, and Windows 10, 11.
• Proficiency in desktop imaging and basic network troubleshooting, including VLAN configurations.
