Augustine Surgical Inc. is seeking a results-driven and knowledgeable Medical Equipment Sales Representative or OR Clinical expert (RN, CST etc.) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in medical device sales and a strong understanding of the surgical environment. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building lasting relationships with key decision-makers, and providing expert product knowledge and support to healthcare professionals. This position is hybrid, requiring a combination of remote work and travel to healthcare facilities within the assigned territory.
Salary Range is $78k - $85k Annually + Uncapped Commission
This role thrives in fast-paced healthcare settings, working primarily in the Operating Room and clinical environments. The manager collaborates closely with clinical specialists and sales teams, traveling extensively to build strong relationships and ensure successful product adoption throughout the assigned territory.
Duties:
Sales and Business Development:
- Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities within hospitals, surgical centers, and physician offices.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share for our product portfolio.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and needs assessment to negotiation and closing.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key opinion leaders, surgeons, nurses, and hospital administrators.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional pre- and post-sales support.
- Understand client needs and challenges to provide tailored solutions and product recommendations.
Product Expertise:
- Become a subject matter expert on all Augustine Surgical Inc. products, understanding their features, benefits, and clinical applications.
- Conduct effective product demonstrations, training, and presentations to healthcare professionals in operating rooms and other clinical settings.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitive products, and clinical research. Administrative and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all sales activities, contacts, and opportunities in our CRM system.
- Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts, reports, and expense reports.
- Manage and track sales budgets effectively.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, customer support, and R&D teams to provide market feedback and ensure a cohesive customer experience.
- Participate in regional and national sales meetings, trade shows, and professional conferences.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Clinical and/or Operating Room Environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years Medical Device Sales Experience Preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
- Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with medical professionals
