Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Transaction Analyst/ Finance Manager to support the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) initiatives within our Development department for Latin America. This short-term position (6 months) will be responsible for identifying inorganic growth opportunities, understanding potential acquisition targets, and help develop acquisition strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Research & Target Screening: Support research activities to help identify potential acquisition targets and compile target lists based on defined criteria.
• Financial Analysis: Assist in preparing financial models and simple valuations to assess the financial health and strategic fit of acquisition prospects.
• Support in developing acquisition strategies: Support the design of transaction structures, collaborate with internal stakeholders to contribute insights and analysis that inform acquisition approaches aligned with global standards and strategic priorities. (e.g., direct acquisitions, JVs, or franchise development).
• Presentation Support: Develop clear, concise materials for internal reviews, investment committees, and global leadership alignment. Prepare supporting materials for internal discussions, including PowerPoint decks and summaries and financial analysis.
• Coordination with Teams: Collaborate with teams across Legal, Finance, Development, and Operations to support transaction workstreams.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in M&A, corporate finance, or strategy roles within a multinational environment. • Solid understanding of financial modeling and due diligence processes.
• Knowledge of the Latin American market and experience working across multiple countries in the region preferred. • Strong strategic insight and the ability to communicate complex ideas to senior leadership.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English, Proficiency in Spanish a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus).
