Fixed Center Technical Specialist – Central (Part-Time, Remote)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Fixed Center Technical Specialist located in the Eastern or Central United States to support operating companies within those time zones. This role focuses on supporting field technicians by delivering technical expertise, maintaining knowledge platforms, and driving adoption of service technology tools.
The ideal candidate brings deep HVAC field experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping technicians solve problems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical content within the Aquant technology platform
- Update and merge manuals, service documents, and intellectual property into digital systems
- Provide remote technical support to field technicians via inbound calls
- Assist with troubleshooting HVAC equipment and guide resolution processes
- Drive adoption and utilization of service technology platforms
- Assist in improving service methodologies to enhance operational efficiency
- Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to field personnel
- Support special projects and additional duties as assigned
Equipment Experience Preferred
Experience with major manufacturers including: Daikin, Trane, York, Carrier, AAON, Goodman, and other commercial HVAC brands.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on HVAC field experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Working knowledge of various operating systems and digital platforms
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Excellent communication skills in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and resourceful
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math/English proficiency
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, MVR check, and physical ability test

- Regular and punctual attendance required
