The Clinical Medical Sales - Territory Manager for the Mid Atlantic Region plays a vital role in supporting clinicians within hospitals and improving patient outcomes by providing expert product knowledge, hands-on training, and strategic territory management.
This role thrives in fast-paced healthcare settings, working primarily in the Operating Room and clinical environments. The manager collaborates closely with clinical specialists and sales teams, traveling extensively to build strong relationships and ensure successful product adoption throughout the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert product education and clinical training in Operating Room and clinical settings
- Support hospital staff during product evaluations, trials, and early implementations
- Assist with clinical documentation and navigate the VAC process
- Serve as a trusted clinical resource throughout product adoption lifecycle
- Maintain and execute strategic 14-day and 28-day territory action plans
- Collaborate with internal teams to align clinical goals and provide cohesive support
- Manage customer relationships to drive sales quota achievement
- Coordinate travel logistics for consistent weekly travel and extensive overnight stays
- Support other regions as needed for clinical coverage, conferences, and training initiatives
- Leverage CRM software, communication platforms, and data analysis tools to track and analyze territory performance
- Participate in product launches, clinical trials support, sales campaigns, and training programs
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in clinical Operating Room environments -or- Similar in Medical Device Sales
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel extensively
- Experience in Medical Device Sales or strong clinical knowledge
- Operating Room knowledge and clinical expertise
