This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to begin a career in marketing. The Marketing Coordinator will support a variety of marketing initiatives, including experiential programs, sponsorships, and promotional campaigns. Working closely with the Marketing Event Manager and cross-functional teams, you will provide coordination and execution support, developing a strong foundation in marketing operations and brand execution.

This remote position is open to candidates in Canada and the US. The Canadian national pay range for this role is CAD $46,000.00 - $53,000.00. The US national pay range for this role is USD $46,000.00 - $58,000.00. Please note that compensation will vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and location.
What You Will Do
- Event Coordination & Logistics:
- Assist the Marketing Event Manager with planning and executing virtual, hybrid, and in-person events in the United States and Canada.
- Coordinate event logistics (e.g., rooming lists, F&B orders, A/V needs) and manage event budgets, tracking expenses, paying invoices, and following up with vendors.
- Support event location sourcing and research.
- Coordinate travel logistics (flights, hotels) for internal teams and C-suite leadership as needed.
- Branding & Asset Management:
- Ensure brand consistency across all event touchpoints (invitations, swag, on-site visuals) and assist in developing branded event materials.
- Collaborate with design teams/vendors to create visually compelling assets (signage, presentations, digital assets).
- Manage branded merchandise inventory.
- Source and manage creative assets (logos, photography, templates).
- Contribute creative ideas for event themes and attendee engagement.
- Administrative & Reporting:
- Help research and maintain a calendar of industry events.
- Contribute to event reporting and internal communications.
- Manage departmental administrative responsibilities (meeting minutes, deadline follow-up).
- Support the broader marketing team with promotional campaigns.
- Communicate effectively and timely with colleagues and vendors.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 0-1 years of experience (relevant internships, volunteer work, or university event planning experience accepted).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to learn new design and project management tools (e.g., ClickUp).
- Ability to travel approximately 10-20% and flexibility to occasionally work nights/weekends for on-site events.
