Overview of the Role
This role focuses on developing clear, engaging visual communication that supports key business strategies. The position requires the ability to translate complex information into accessible, compelling designs while maintaining consistent brand identity across all deliverables. Collaboration with writers, leaders, and cross-functional partners is essential to ensure cohesive project execution.
The Basics
Duration: 3 months
Hours: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
Location: Remote
Top 3 Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field with proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) on macOS
- Intermediate knowledge of print and web production techniques and strong ability to convey complex or technical information in a clear, understandable manner
- Strong communication, collaboration, time management, and project management skills
Other Qualifications
- Intermediate proficiency in desktop publishing, imaging, and graphic design software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Solid organizational, presentation, and problem solving abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Preferred: At least one year of graphic design or related experience, including internships or experience in an agency or in house design environment
- Required Education: Bachelors Degree n graphic design or a related field
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure message consistency and clear brand identity in partnership with writing teams
- Develop cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and recognition materials, along with other donor centered projects
- Approach each project holistically to identify and engage appropriate creative resources
- Participate in meetings with writers and gift officers to establish visual strategy and production plans
- Collaborate with organizational leaders to help execute project vision
- Design and implement original and template based materials in alignment with graphic standards
- Demonstrate technical expertise and deliver high quality work within established production timelines
