Brand Marketing Manager
The Sage Group’s client, an autonomous driving technology company, is seeking a passionate and experienced Brand Marketing Manager to help lead the development and execution of our brand campaigns.
The Marketing team has the unique opportunity to not only grow the company’s brand from the ground up but also build societal acceptance for autonomous driving technology for the first time in history.
Overall Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting innovative and engaging campaigns that build awareness, trust and love for the brand and our autonomous ride-hail service. We are looking for someone with a creative spirit, an appetite for experimentation, and a deep understanding of quantifying the value of brand investments. You will work closely with brand marketing and strategy to investigate the consumer, category and business landscape and bring programs to life through close collaboration with marketing managers and agencies across paid media, social media, web, experiential, brand, product marketing and design. From ideation to briefing to production, execution and reporting, you’ll lead our brand campaign end-to-end initiatives and report back to the business on the impact and success of programs.
Top Daily Responsibilities:
- Research the consumer, category, and business landscape to uncover insights to inform and drive the development of brand campaign initiatives.
- Craft briefs to equip in-house and external agency partners with background, insights, goals, and KPIs and inspire them to develop out-of-the-box programs to meet brand objectives.
- Develop, execute, and sustain integrated brand marketing campaigns across a variety of channels, including, but not limited to, digital, social, video, out-of-home, experiential, partnerships, and PR.
- Brief in-house design team and external creative agencies on required creative assets for campaigns, ensuring timely hand-off to activation partners.
- Manage relationships with in-house and external agency partners, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including growth marketing, product marketing, communications, brand engagement, and brand studio, to ensure alignment and consistency across all marketing efforts.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide data-driven insights for ROI reporting and to optimize future campaigns.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5-7+ years of experience in brand marketing or advertising, either in-house or at an agency
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand campaigns
- Strong understanding of brand marketing channels and tactics, including digital, social, video, out-of-home, experiential, and partnerships
- Successful track record of collaborating cross-functionally with various partners in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- An exciting portfolio of work that demonstrates a wide range of brand marketing experience
- Curious, innovative, and thrives on ambiguity
- Strong creative spirit and ability to think outside the box
- Passion for autonomous driving technology
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications: (Skills that would be nice to have but are not essential in the role)
- Experience working on consumer tech brand
- Experience with brand and creative research
1-year contract with the possibility of renewal
West Coast locations are highly preferred
$65-$75 hourly, W-2
