DAL Accounting & Tax LLC is seeking a reliable and professional Virtual Receptionist / Client Intake Assistant to support our growing accounting practice. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients calling the office, providing a friendly and professional experience while helping schedule consultations and collect client information.
This remote position is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, is organized, and takes pride in delivering excellent client service.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls using a professional and courteous greeting.
- Record client intake information including name, phone number, email address, and service requested.
- Schedule client consultations using Google Calendar.
- Maintain an organized log of incoming calls and scheduled appointments.
- Escalate urgent client matters to the accountant when necessary.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients at all times.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information.
Education and Experience
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional coursework in business administration, office administration, or a related field is a plus but not required.
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, customer service, or similar client-facing role.
- Experience answering business phone calls and managing appointments preferred.
- Experience working in a professional services office such as accounting, tax, legal, or medical is an advantage but not required.
Skills
- Strong verbal communication and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to organize information accurately and maintain records
- Comfortable using common office tools and scheduling systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Tools Used
You will work with the following tools:
- RingCentral for answering and managing client calls
- Google Workspace for scheduling appointments and communication
- Spreadsheets for maintaining client intake records and call logs
Training will be provided on all systems used in this role.
Schedule
This is a part-time remote position.
Monday – Friday
Approximately 25 hours per week
Typical working hours:
8:30 AM – 1:30 PM Eastern Time (ET)
Applicants must be available during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $17 – $20 per hour, depending on experience.
This position is paid on an hourly basis for approximately 25 hours per week.
Training will be provided to ensure familiarity with our systems and processes.
Contract Terms
This position will begin as a 3-month contract. Continued engagement may be offered based on performance and business needs.

This is a fully remote position. Applicants must have:
