Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial facility maintenance or property maintenance services. This role is responsible for managing repair and maintenance projects across multiple commercial locations while coordinating technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget.
The ideal candidate has prior experience working for a commercial facility services company, property maintenance provider, or service-based contractor and is comfortable managing multiple work orders and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and oversee commercial maintenance and repair projects from initiation to completion
· Quoting jobs and understanding markups
· Coordinate scheduling and dispatch of technicians and subcontractors
· Review scopes of work, estimates, and service reports for accuracy
· Communicate with clients regarding project status, timelines, and completion updates
· Track and manage work orders through completion while ensuring proper documentation
· Monitor project budgets and review vendor invoices
· Ensure all work meets company standards and safety requirements
· Troubleshoot service issues and resolve project delays
· Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
· Prioritize multiple projects and deadlines across various locations
Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience with a commercial facility maintenance company or property maintenance provider
· Experience managing commercial repair and maintenance projects
· Strong knowledge of building systems including overhead doors, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance
· Experience coordinating subcontractors and service vendors
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
· Proficiency with work order management systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working with national commercial accounts or multi-location clients
· Background in service dispatching or facilities coordination
