Digital Marketing Specialist IV – Lending Portfolio
Initial Contract – Fully Remote (Preference for CST, MT, or PST Time Zones) *strong potential for extension or conversion.
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Digital Marketing Specialist IV – Lending Portfolio to support go-to-market strategy and execution for a business credit card product within a high-growth lending organization.
This role sits on the U.S. Marketing team and will own key go-to-market workstreams across the Lending portfolio. The ideal candidate brings strong product marketing experience within financial services, fintech, or software environments and has successfully taken new products to market while optimizing existing offerings. This position blends strategic thinking, data-informed decision-making, and seamless cross-functional execution. You will partner closely with channel leads, research teams, analytics, finance, risk, legal, product, and sales to deliver impactful go-to-market plans that expand audience reach, drive adoption, and fuel business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution
- Lead and own go-to-market workstreams for a business credit card product within the Lending portfolio
- Develop and execute segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies
- Partner with channel leads to expand marketing channels and grow audience reach
- Drive successful product launches for new and existing financial/software products
- Optimize existing products and marketing programs to improve performance
Customer Insights, Research & Data-Driven Decision Making
- Leverage customer insights, competitive intelligence, and product expertise to inform positioning and messaging
- Partner with the research team to conduct formal primary research
- Develop testing plans and analyze a mix of raw and collated data to generate actionable insights
- Use data and business acumen to prioritize highest-impact opportunities
- Turn insights into compelling business cases and customer experiences
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Influence
- Partner across marketing, product, design, business development, analytics, finance, credit, risk, legal, strategy, sales, and customer success
- Influence stakeholders and ensure initiatives stay on track across multiple channels
- Operate effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Balance strategic thinking with seamless execution
Channel & Growth Expansion
- Work closely with ecosystem and external partners to scale the lending marketplace
- Identify opportunities to add or optimize marketing channels
- Drive year-over-year growth through coordinated marketing activations
- Ensure alignment across business development and marketing teams
Required Qualifications:
- 5–8+ years of experience in Product Marketing within financial services, fintech, or software environments
- Proven experience bringing new B2B financial or software products to market
- Strong go-to-market strategy and execution experience
- Experience optimizing existing products and marketing programs
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Highly analytical mindset with ability to interpret multiple data sources
- Experience using marketing frameworks for segmentation, targeting, and positioning
- Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively and balance short- and long-term business goals
- Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and measurable performance results
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in credit card, lending, or fintech products
- Experience marketing to small and mid-sized businesses
- Background in B2B financial products
- Experience working with research teams on primary research initiatives
