Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant (Lead-to-Funded Support)
We are seeking an experienced, client-facing Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to support high-producing Loan Officers from initial lead through funded loan. This is a critical, fast-paced role designed for someone who thrives in momentum, communicates confidently with clients, and takes ownership of the loan pipeline.
This is not an entry-level administrative role. Previous residential mortgage LOA or mortgage processing experience is required.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Loan Officer from lead intake through closing
- Communicate directly with clients regarding documentation, timelines, and next steps
- Collect and review income, asset, and credit documentation for completeness
- Manage pipeline milestones and proactively follow up to keep loans on track
- Coordinate with processing, underwriting, title, and escrow partners
- Maintain accurate loan files and CRM updates
- Provide a high-touch, service-oriented client experience
You will not be responsible for originating or self-generating business — but you must bring a strong sales spirit and client confidence to every interaction.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year residential mortgage LOA or mortgage processing experience (required)
- Strong understanding of income calculation and documentation review
- Excellent follow-up and multitasking skills
- High sense of urgency and ownership
- Ability to manage multiple files in various stages simultaneously
- Professional, polished communication skills
