Job Summary
We are seeking a talented
Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the CFO to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.
Responsibilities
- Check online mailbox (iPostal) for correspondence and distribute to applicable departments
- Accounts receivable: Post incoming checks to A/R, balance and complete deposits, along with related reporting responsibilities
- Accounts payable: review, processing and budgeting
- Insurance policy renewals
- Biweekly payroll review
- Monthly ACH transfer transactions
- Various Administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Experience in QuickBooks Online, Excel and ADP Run a plus
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
