What’s the role?
We’re seeking a resourceful, execution-oriented person to create customer success through clinical and operational support, as well as broaden market access to Optellum’s products by helping implement customer reimbursement. This is a unique opportunity to help shape our success and our customers’ success, with the goal of transforming the care of lung cancer from late diagnosis and suboptimal treatment to early diagnosis and optimal treatment. The role will entail ownership across the following functions.
1. Customer success program management
- Lead customer onboarding and provide ongoing support for the use and implementation of Optellum’s solutions.
- Act as a customer advocate and advisor to ensure the best customer experience.
- Educate customers on upcoming product enhancements and collaborate with internal teams to drive utilization and long-term value.
- Partner with sales to support customer adoption, expansion, and education on current and future product capabilities.
2. Clinical application liaison
- Collect, document, and track customer training, issues, complaints, and resolutions, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of the customer knowledge base.
- Serve as a key interface between customer clinical teams and internal product and engineering teams.
- Engage KOLs at customer sites to support webinars, conferences, and peer-to-peer education initiatives.
3. Reimbursement support program management (training will be provided as needed)
- Provide customers with clinical and reimbursement utilization reports while actively collecting feedback and data to support evidence generation and drive continuous improvements.
- Support clinicians in understanding and implementing appropriate billing and reimbursement workflows.
Who are you?
Essential qualities, skills & experience
You should be or have all of these:
- Experience: prior work with pulmonology, thoracic surgery, or oncology stakeholders/or healthcare IT implementations or clinical software deployments.
- Customer-focused problem-solving: dive deep to address and resolve customer pain points quickly
- Deadline and multitasking proficiency: manage tight deadlines and multiple responsibilities efficiently, with a focus on timely completion.
- Data Driven: ability to analyze information and translate insights into action
- Technical familiarity: experience working within IT environments with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Healthcare experience: minimum of five years of experience working in the US Healthcare or life sciences industries, including customer-facing roles
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field, or demonstration of equivalent work experience.
- Willingness to travel within the USA as needed, responding promptly to travel requirements
Desirable qualities, skills & experience
One or more of these would be advantageous:
- Familiarity with lung nodule care pathways and related clinical workflows.
- Experience using HubSpot or other CRM platforms
- Comfortable interpreting clinical or operational data to support customer decision-making

This position offers a starting salary of between $80k-$85 plus a full line of benefits, including a 401(k) match, as well as a company-wide bonus with the potential for growth in compensation as we grow.
