Role Description
The Ecommerce Marketing Manager is a full-time remote position responsible for developing and implementing ecommerce strategies to drive online sales and enhance customer engagement. This role involves managing ecommerce platforms, analyzing sales and marketing data, creating and optimizing marketing campaigns, and leading projects to improve digital performance. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and ensure a seamless online shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue & Performance: Grow revenue and profit while maintaining marketing efficiency targets. Identify growth opportunities and risks take action as needed.
Marketing Channel Strategy: Define strategy and execute across PPC, SEO, Social, Email, and Web. Ensure channels work together as a single system, not silos.
Funnel & Conversion Optimization: Design and execute customer journeys including landing pages, offers, messaging, and CRO initiatives. Partner with design and development resources as needed.
Agency & VA Management: Hire, onboard, and manage agencies and VAs across all DTC functions.
Data and Reporting: Setup sales and profit reporting dashboards (using internal or external resources) and use them to guide actions for sales and profit growth. Share insights and reports with leadership.
Systems & Tools: Own the DTC tech stack and work with internal team to setup and maintain existing and new channels and tools.
Creative and Copy: Work with team members and agencies to produce winning copy and creatives. Final approval on messaging, creative direction, and offers.
New Channel & Initiative Development: Identify and validate new growth channels (e.g., affiliates, partnerships, emerging ad platforms). Launch and test new initiatives with clear success criteria.
Ownership and Accountability: Act as the single DTC point of accountability for leadership. Learn how the business operates and coordinate with other teams to ensure overall business objectives are successfully met.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven DTC growth ownership. (includes tech stack and marketing ownership)
- Agency/VA management experience
- Full-funnel marketing experience
- DTC reporting skills
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 per year.
