Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload appliances using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques.
- Deliver appliances to customer sites promptly while adhering to route schedules and safety protocols.
- Install appliances accurately according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements, ensuring proper operation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally.
- Conduct thorough inspections of appliances before and after delivery to ensure quality and completeness.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for each job performed.
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and preparation of appliances for delivery as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or appliance installation is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting, moving appliances safely using manual techniques or equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently; CDL or driver certification is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Experience with route driving and load & unload procedures in fast-paced environments.
