Making spACE-which stands for
Advocacy, Community, and Education-we provide culturally relevant resources, safe spaces, and storytelling platforms that honor lived experiences and address the unique challenges faced by Women of Color in the breast cancer community. From peer support and wellness workshops to national advocacy campaigns and leadership development, FTBOU is building a bold, movement where no woman walks alone.
Whether newly diagnosed, in active treatment, living with metastatic disease, or thriving in survivorship, every Baddie deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.

About Us

Role Overview
We are seeking a volunteer bookkeeper to help us stay on top of our finances as we grow. Your work will ensure transparency, accuracy, and smooth financial operations so we can keep our focus on uplifting women of color impacted by breast cancer.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Wave, or Excel)
- Track income, donations, and expenses
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare simple monthly financial reports for leadership
- Support budgeting and event tracking (e.g., Breast Cancer BaddieCon)
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounting (nonprofit experience a plus)
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Able to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Wave, or similar tools
