Seek and Sight is a web-based educational platform that teaches sight words to children with learning disabilities through STEM concepts, social-emotional learning, and personalized, curriculum-aligned tools. Seek and Sight addresses critical social and educational challenges that impact children with learning disabilities, their families, and underserved communities.
Role (Volunteer, unpaid): Graphic Designer
Role Description: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to help develop engaging visual materials that support our educational content, marketing, and fundraising efforts.
This role will help strengthen our brand presence and create visuals that communicate our mission to families, educators, and community partners.
Responsibilities
- Design graphics for social media, presentations, and marketing materials
- Create visual assets for fundraising campaigns and community outreach
- Support branding for Literacy 4 Life and Seek and Sight initiatives
- Develop simple layouts for flyers, one-pagers, and digital materials
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual content
- Collaborate with the marketing, content, and leadership team
Qualifications
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar)
- Portfolio demonstrating design work (social media, branding, or marketing materials)
- Understanding of layout, typography, and visual storytelling
- Ability to meet simple deadlines and work remotely
- Interest in education, children’s learning, or social impact work
Commitment
- 3–5 hours per week (flexible)
- Minimum 8–12 week commitment
- Remote volunteer role
