Overview
We are seeking a skilled Operations and Maintenance Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility. This role is integral to ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex industrial systems. Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery using schematics, wiring diagrams, and precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order management.
- Conduct welding operations, including welding, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Maintain high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, adhering to safety protocols for high-voltage environments.
- Use field service techniques to diagnose issues on-site, including the operation of scissor lifts and other industrial equipment.
- Document maintenance activities accurately and efficiently using CMMS software.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades, ensuring compliance with schematics and technical specifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
- Follow safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial mechanic work within manufacturing facilities or similar environments.
- Strong electrical experience, including working with high voltage systems, industrial electricians’ knowledge, and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and precision measurement tools.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and CMMS software is preferred.
- Knowledge of analysis skills related to system diagnostics and troubleshooting complex machinery issues.
- Background in industrial maintenance or mechanical fields; military experience in technical roles is advantageous.
- Ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English are required to document work accurately and collaborate effectively with team members. Pay: $25.90 - $31.19 per hour
