The Clinical Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Secondary Review Team for the United Healthcare Community Plan of Kansas. This role is critical in providing essential support to the Secondary Review Team by working with care coordination staff to ensure that submission of reviews are processed and documented in a timely manner. Additionally, this role will help support tracking of various reporting elements for analysis and trending. The Secondary Review Team consists of nurses and administrative coordinators within the plan. Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining 100% adherence to state contract, CMS requirements, and Product & Program Requirements
- Monitor the timely receipt of state assessments received from Service Coordinators while demonstrating compliance to ensure that all internal and state deadlines are met
- Act as an advocate for our membership and establish effective working relationships with our Service Coordinators and Secondary Review RN's ensuring all federal, state and company regulations, policies, and expectations are followed
- Document saving and uploading in electronic records
- Providing essential administrative support to the Secondary Review Team through spirit of collaboration to ensure efficiency in all administrative areas
- Track work in SharePoint or other forms
- Assign cases for review to the Secondary Review RN and Medical Director
- Track progress of the case throughout the process
- Document timely completion of cases and notification letters
- Identify and champion opportunities and support colleagues in the pursuit of increasing Quality, Accuracy, Value, Affordability, and Timeliness

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of Clerical or Administrative work experience
- 2+ years of experience using the telephone and computer as primary instruments to perform job duties
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook)
- Access to a designated quiet workspace in your home (separated from non-workspace areas) with the ability to secure Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Reside in a location that can receive a high-speed internet connection (additional information on UnitedHealth Group approved internet providers and restrictions will be provided)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medicare and/or Medicaid experience
- Organization and critical thinking skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.98 to $32.12 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
