This is a rare opportunity to work directly with the Founder to help define, build, and scale a personal and commercial brand that empowers women, challenges the high-maintenance beauty industrial complex, and celebrates individuality, and effortlessness.
We’re seeking a Social Media & Brand Strategist to own the end-to-end social vision from shaping a distinct brand voice and content philosophy to executing a thoughtful, high-impact roadmap across Instagram/Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms. This role sits at the intersection of editorial storytelling, cultural relevance, and strategic growth.
You will act as a true thought partner to the Founder, helping decide what stories we tell, how we tell them, and where they live expanding the brand beyond hair into lifestyle, education, creative freedom, and future product or service offerings. This is about building a movement, not just a feed.

Key Responsibilities
Brand & Content Strategy
- Partner directly with the Founder to define and evolve a bold, feminine, and disruptive brand presence across social platforms
- Establish clear content pillars (e.g., hair expertise, education, lifestyle, behind-the-scenes, editorial, thought leadership, products/services); Identify adjacent storytelling opportunities that grow authority, community, and long-term brand equity
- Shape a brand narrative that empowers women to feel beautiful without over-effort, positioning the Founder as both an expert and a cultural voice
- Determine what content lives on which platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and why
- Shape the brand narrative beyond hair, identifying adjacent topics, offerings, and storytelling opportunities that grow audience and authority
Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Create and own a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand values, audience growth, and business goals
- Build and manage a monthly content calendar, including launches, campaigns, and evergreen content
- Plan content themes, posting cadence, formats, and hooks optimized per platform
- Ideate original, on-brand content concepts that feel elevated, modern, and authentic
Content Production & Execution
- Coordinate and plan content shoots with videographers and photographers
- Brief creative partners on shot lists, formats, and platform requirements
- Edit short-form and long-form video content when possible (or manage a separate video editor as needed)
- Write or oversee captions, hooks, and CTAs aligned with brand voice
- Publish, manage, and maintain all social media accounts
Performance & Optimization
- Monitor performance and track key KPIs (engagement, growth, saves, shares, conversions, etc.)
- A/B test formats, hooks, posting times, and content types
- Analyze what’s working and continuously iterate and refine the strategy
- Provide clear insights and recommendations to guide future content and brand decisions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in social media strategy, brand marketing, or content leadership
- Proven experience building or scaling a personal brand, founder brand, or creative-led business
- Deep understanding of Instagram/Meta, TikTok, and YouTube content strategy
- Strong creative instincts with a polished, editorial eye
- Comfortable working directly with high-profile talent and acting as a strategic thought partner
- Highly organized with the ability to manage calendars, shoots, and multiple workstreams
- Data-driven mindset, able to balance creativity with performance insights
- Video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.) are a strong plus but not required
