Boston Equipment Service Company, Inc. (Woburn, MA) is hiring a Senior HVAC/R Technician
(3+ years) to join our full-time service team. We’re a family-owned company focused on quality
work, consistent scheduling, and treating technicians with respect.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
- Sign-on bonus (details provided during interview; paid after training/probation milestones)
- Quarterly performance bonus (clear metrics and payout schedule)
- Overtime available as needed
What you’ll do
- Diagnose and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems
- Perform system start-ups, testing, and commissioning
- Refrigeration piping and related mechanical work
- Preventive maintenance and service documentation
- Track parts/materials used on service calls
- (Plus) Work on commercial kitchen equipment when needed (training available for the right
technician)
What we’re looking for (must-haves)
- 3+ years of hands-on residential HVAC/R service and repair experience
- EPA certification (Universal preferred)
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (controls, safeties, motors, basic schematics)
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with customers/team
- Must pass pre-employment screening and background check
Work details
- Full-time, year-round work
- On-call rotation required (details discussed during interview)
- Service area: Greater Boston / North Shore (confirm your exact coverage)
