We’re hiring an Operations Assistant who will work closely with the founder to support client progress, follow-through, and day-to-day operational flow.
This role is highly collaborative and requires someone who can think alongside the founder, understand client goals and monthly focus areas, notice gaps, and help ensure work actually moves forward. While the founder sets direction and final priorities, this role actively supports progress by tracking movement, surfacing observations, and helping translate goals into clear next steps.
This is a thinking-while-doing role, not a purely administrative or passive support role.
What Working With Me Looks Like
Working with me is highly collaborative, fast-moving, and grounded in clarity.
I am deeply involved in client work and have strong visibility into what’s happening across the business. I lead direction, set priorities, and guide strategy, but I value having someone beside me who can think with me, notice what’s slipping, and help ensure follow-through actually happens.
On a day-to-day basis, we will:
- Review client statuses together
- Talk through what the focus is for each client that week or month
- Identify what needs to move next
- Follow up on tasks, conversations, and open loops
- Make sure clients and team members are not left waiting
I often think out loud. You won’t always receive perfectly packaged instructions, but you will receive context. I’m looking for someone who can listen, understand what matters, and help translate that into action and follow-through.
I appreciate initiative, clear communication, and people who are comfortable saying, “Hey, I noticed this,” or “This feels like it might stall if we don’t address it.”
You don’t need to have all the answers. You do need to be present, observant, and willing to engage in ongoing conversation about progress.

What You’ll Be DoingDaily and Weekly Responsibilities
- Sit in on client review calls or review call recordings
- Maintain awareness of all active clients, including:
- Monthly focus areas
- Defined goals or OKRs
- Current project status
- Support the founder in tracking client progress against monthly plans
- Help think through what needs to happen next to support client goals
- Flag gaps, stalled items, or missing pieces that may impact progress
- Help translate monthly focus areas into clear tasks and follow-through
- Follow up with team members on assigned tasks to ensure momentum
- Follow up with clients for approvals, assets, or responses when needed
- Support clear, timely client communication and updates
- Help ensure emails, messages, and action items are responded to appropriately
- Remind the founder of important follow-ups, check-ins, or decisions
- Support ongoing client progress so work moves forward, not just stays open
How This Role Thinks
In this role, you will:
- Think alongside the founder about client progress and momentum
- Help connect daily tasks to monthly client goals
- Surface observations, questions, or concerns that may affect outcomes
- Support decision-making by providing context, not by owning strategy
You are not expected to lead strategy or make final decisions, but you are expected to actively engage, notice patterns, and contribute to forward motion.
What This Role Is Not
- You are not solely an admin task-taker
- You are not the primary strategist
- You are not responsible for implementing client work
- You are not the final decision-maker
This role supports clarity, progress, and follow-through in partnership with the founder.
What Success Looks Like
- Clients are progressing toward their monthly goals
- Tasks discussed in meetings are followed through on
- Gaps or stalls are noticed early and addressed
- Client communication feels consistent and intentional
- The founder feels supported, informed, and less mentally overloaded
- Client momentum is maintained throughout the month

- Includes a short paid trial period before long-term hire
