Role Overview
At Gierd, we partner with leading sellers to protect their business, strengthen marketplace performance, and deliver exceptional buyer experiences. Our Account Health team safeguards seller accounts by managing disputes, recovering funds, and resolving claims with marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Best Buy, and others.
We are looking for a highly-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive candidate to support our sellers by handling claims, analyzing case outcomes, and ensuring recovery opportunities are maximized.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor seller account health by tracking violations, disputes, claims, and performance metrics across marketplaces.
- Manage and resolve cases to protect seller funds and status, ensuring accurate, well-documented submissions.
- Audit closed claims and policy violations to recover revenue, identify errors, and maintain compliance.
- Detect fraudulent or invalid claims, escalate risks, and flag patterns that may impact account health.
- Provide reporting and insights on recovery outcomes, trends, and opportunities for improved win rates.
- Partner with internal teams and marketplace representatives to ensure disputes are fully supported and communicated clearly.
- Conduct trend and root cause analysis to identify recurring issues, recommend solutions, and strengthen processes.
- Monitor account performance KPIs across disputes and recoveries, providing insights that drive continuous improvements.
- Take ownership of achieving individual performance targets and KPIs, ensuring accountability for case outcomes, recovery rates, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a customer support role within a back-end environment, working with tickets, CRM systems and case management tools
- 2 years of experience in e-commerce support, account health, risk operations or a related marketplace support role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, including Excel or Sheets
- Ability to quickly learn and work with new systems and software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or process gaps
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with marketplaces effectively and build clear, evidence-driven cases
- Analytical mindset with the ability to audit, track results and spot trends
- Ability to manage multiple cases at once, meet deadlines and follow structured processes
- Interest in learning marketplace policies and applying them to protect sellers’ accounts
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of customer support experience in online marketplaces or eCommerce platforms
Work Schedule
- This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of Post Falls, ID.
- Required working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
- Scheduled working days are Tuesday - Saturday.
