We are looking for a part time Automotive Specialist who has hands on automotive experience strong communication skills and familiarity with diagnostic tools or scan tools. At YOUCANIC we help everyday drivers save money and gain confidence by understanding and fixing their vehicles. Your work will have a direct impact on people who genuinely need support and guidance.
What You ll Do
- Answer customer emails and support tickets with clarity empathy and technical accuracy
- Make outbound follow up calls when needed to help customers through more complex issues
- Use your automotive and diagnostic knowledge to help customers troubleshoot scan tool functions and vehicle related problems
- Collaborate with our internal team to escalate technical cases when needed
- Occasionally assist with writing or editing technical articles and support content
- Create simple explanation videos showing how certain components or systems work for example how a MAF sensor operates, or how to read a trouble code or how to perform a basic diagnostic check, etc.
- Provide feedback to help improve our products and customer experience
Who We re Looking For
- Experience working on cars either professionally or as an advanced DIYer
- Comfort using automotive diagnostic tools scanners or repair software
- Excellent communication skills writing and speaking
- Patience empathy and genuine motivation to help drivers solve problems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to explain complex issues in simple terms
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable recording short educational videos with clear easy to understand explanations
- Bonus but not required experience creating or editing technical content or videos.

This job is Fully Remote.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
