Role Description
We’re looking for a Social Media Graphic/Media Design who thinks beyond the brief.
This isn’t a “make it look nice” kind of role. We want someone who connects design decisions to strategy, challenges ideas when they don’t make sense, and brings creative direction to the table.
This role is ideal for a creative who is passionate about both visual execution and digital strategy. You won't just be generating assets; you will be connecting design choices to specific campaign objectives and learning how to measure creative impact across digital channels.
You’ll collaborate with a team that values your input and encourages your ideas — about what works, what doesn’t, and why. You’ll help shape brands, build campaigns, and create visuals that leave an impression.
You’ll get to:
- Design engaging static visual assets for paid and organic digital channels (social media, website, email, ad campaigns).
- Ensure all visual content rigorously adheres to client brand guidelines while maintaining a high creative standard.
- Develop short, dynamic motion graphics, animated graphics (e.g., GIFs), and video (e.g., reels) for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and X.
- Assist in optimizing video content for various aspect ratios and platform requirements.
- Brainstorm and conceptualize creative ideas for daily social media posts that align with client marketing goals.
- Assist the team with content scheduling, publishing, and real-time monitoring of social media performance and trends.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Must be based in the Los Angeles (LA) or Washington D.C. (DC) area.
- Working proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and foundational knowledge of After Effects/Premiere Pro.
- A strong portfolio (school or personal projects accepted) that demonstrates skill in graphic design and/or motion/video editing.
- A keen, up-to-date understanding of current social media platforms (especially Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and their content best practices.
- Highly organized, eager to learn, and proactive in asking questions and offering ideas.
Bonus Points:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Planable, Later).
We’re especially looking for work that demonstrates:
- Storytelling through design

Compensation
Project-based or hourly rate based on experience and project scope.
