We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Biomedical Equipment Technician specializing in Dialysis equipment to join our team on a contract basis. This role requires national travel to various healthcare facilities to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dialysis machines and related biomedical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments.
- Perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of dialysis equipment and associated biomedical devices.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation for all equipment serviced.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and vendors to ensure optimal equipment functionality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Travel nationally to various healthcare sites as required by contract assignments.
- Stay updated with the latest technology and best practices in dialysis equipment maintenance and repair.
- Associate’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field.
- Proven experience working with dialysis equipment and biomedical devices.
- Strong knowledge of medical device regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally for extended periods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a contract position requiring flexibility and commitment to travel across multiple locations nationwide. Candidates must be prepared to adapt to varying work environments and schedules.
