Role Description
We have an immediate need to support a live transaction in the infrastructure services sector. This is a part-time role as a Private Equity Senior Associate in New York, NY, with flexibility for remote work. As a Private Equity Associate, you will support the investment team in conducting due diligence, financial analysis, and industry research. You will assist in evaluating potential investment opportunities, building financial models, monitoring portfolio companies, preparing investment presentations and reports, and fundraising. This role is ideal for someone who is willing to work part-time and has flexibility around their schedule and/or is comfortable with a project-based compensation model (e.g. MBA student, recently exited investment banking or private equity Associate). Prior private equity and/or investment banking experience with strong LBO modeling experience is a prerequisite. Upon closing our first one to two acquisitions, the role could transition to a full-time role.
Ideal Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of investment banking and/or private equity experience
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Robust experience with PowerPoint and creating investment memorandums
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
