TechnologyWest, a Technology firm based in Denver and Western Colorado is seeking a Access Control/Cabling Consultant to assist with preparation and purchase of access control, camera and cabling installation quotes on a part-time basis. Previous experience with installation and purchase of cabling, cameras and access control systems is required.
The ideal candidate is prompt and reliable, has access control design, quoting and project management experience and excellent communication skills. He/she will have a proven track record of client satisfaction and is motivated to provide superior service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide Recommendations on Hardware and Prepare Quotes for Client Access Control and Camera Installation
Required:
* Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
* High School Diploma or GED (Required) Bachelor's degree or certification preferred
* US Work Authorization (Required)
* Must be available Monday - Friday 10:00am - 5:30pm for Contractor & Client Video Conference Meetings
* Familiar with cabling, computers, networks, installation of access control devices, cameras, video surveillance and access controls systems
* Must own Computer
* Must have Internet Access
* Computer skills including Microsoft Office
* Ability to work without supervision
* Ability to manage workflow in a timely and consistent manager
Skills:
* Trade qualification in electronics or equivalent technical education
* Strong analytical skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong organizational skills
* Professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with our team members and clients
* Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Preferred:
2-5 years experience with preparing quotes, ordering and installation of cabling, access controls and cameras
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 5 per week
