About the Role
Our recruitment team is working with a leading multi-strategy investment firm to identify high-potential early to mid-career professionals for its growing trading and research division.
This opportunity offers direct exposure to institutional investment practices, including equities, derivatives (options and futures), and global macro strategies. Analysts work closely with experienced portfolio managers and gain hands-on experience in idea generation, risk management, and market execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct company, sector, and macroeconomic research
- Build and maintain financial and valuation models
- Analyze options and futures markets, including volatility and positioning data
- Support trade idea generation and execution
- Monitor portfolio performance and risk metrics
- Present findings and investment insights to senior managers
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, analytical, and motivated to master financial markets at a professional level. Candidates from a range of disciplines are welcome, including finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, and computer science. However, other backgrounds may also be considered.
Strong performers tend to demonstrate:
- Quantitative and problem-solving ability
- Clear and structured communication
- Curiosity about market dynamics and price behavior
- Initiative, experience and accountability in small, high-performing teams
- Interest in derivatives trading and applied investment strategy
- Prior experience in financial analytical or trading roles is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or experience in trading, investment research, or asset management
- Understanding of options pricing, futures, or financial modeling
- Proficiency in Excel, Python, or analytical tools
- Professional certifications such as CFA Level I, CAIA, or CFOA (Certified Futures & Options Analyst)
- Completion of TrendUp Now’s Level 3 or SRP program, which signals institutional readiness and fast-tracks review. SRP graduated need not apply as your profile will be automatically reviewed by our recruitment team.
