We are looking for a skilled Refrigeration and Controls Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
To be considered for this opportunity, the applicant MUST have supermarket refrigeration and/or industrial refrigeration experience. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Refrigeration and Controls Specialist with a strong background in CO2 applications and controls. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Danfoss and Copeland CO2 programming and a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems used in commercial and industrial refrigeration.
Key Responsibilities:
- CO2 Programming: Utilize strong Danfoss (SM800A) and Copeland CO2 (E2/E3) programming skills to support customer needs, including working with Danfoss CO2 controls and the Danfoss Service Tool.
- Mechanical Acuity: Apply a solid understanding of ammonia/CO2-based refrigeration applications to assist in the development of drawings and support customer's application engineering groups.
- Electrical Schematics: Read and interpret advanced electrical schematics to ensure the proper installation and functioning of refrigeration systems.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to refrigeration controls.
- Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation, including technical drawings and reports, using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in CO2 programming and controls, with a strong preference for candidates with Danfoss CO2 expertise.
- Travel: This is a remote position, but requires up to 60% travel annually, with approximately 90% of on-site business located in the Northeast United States
- Mechanical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ammonia/CO2-based refrigeration systems, including the ability to assist in engineering and design.
- Electrical Skills: Proficient in reading and understanding advanced electrical schematics.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Danfoss/Copeland CO2 Controls: Deep level understanding of Danfoss/Copland CO2 controls and the Danfoss Service Tool is highly desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
