Overview
We are a small commercial heating, air conditioning & refrigeration company looking for an experienced HVAC / Refrigeration Technician to join our team. A technician must have five years+ experience in heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. We service commercial retail sites and restaurants. We cover the MD/DE market. We are based out of Chesapeake City, MD. If you are tired of working for larger companies and being micromanaged, this will be an excellent opportunity for more autonomy and flexibility. Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment
- Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems, including compressors, motors, and fans.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during all work performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in commercial environments.
- Must have strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and appliance repair.
- Previous Field service experience a must.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- A valid driver’s license is required (company vehicle provided)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
