About the RoleThe PR Insiders — a fast-growing PR and media firm founded by award-winning journalists — is scaling our social media division and seeking a Social Media Director to take full ownership of client strategy, content creation, and performance analytics.
This role begins as a contracted position with the clear and immediate intent to transition into a full-time, salaried role within four months for the right candidate as we expand our team. You’ll be leading social strategy for multiple clients across the hospitality, lifestyle, and wellness industries — creating scroll-stopping content, driving measurable results, and shaping the creative voice of each brand.
What You’ll Do- Lead and execute monthly strategies for each client — including content calendars, audience growth initiatives, paid media, and engagement campaigns.
- Create high-performing social media content (posts, reels, stories, ads, boosted posts) that is aligned with each brand’s tone and aesthetic.
- Develop individualized strategies — treating every client as a separate entity with its own voice, analytics, and communication style.
- Own analytics and reporting:
- Prepare monthly performance reports for each client.
- Provide insights on what worked, what didn’t, and actionable next steps.
- Avoid raw data dumps — your analysis should tell a story and drive next month’s creative.
- Drive engagement:
- Incorporate at least two interactive or engagement-based posts per month (polls, questions, challenges, etc.).
- Proactively identify what’s resonating and pivot quickly to boost performance.
- Lead with insight: Use analytics to shape creative direction, not the other way around.
- Client communication: Maintain professional, timely client interaction and build trusted relationships.
- Collaborate with the internal PR and creative teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
What We’re Looking For- Proficiency in Sprout Social (or equivalent social media management platforms).
- Strong analytics and reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into strategy.
- Proven experience running paid and organic campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities with a keen understanding of tone and voice.
- A leader with initiative, ownership, and accountability — not just managing posts but driving growth.
- Confidence managing multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a deep understanding of current trends, pop culture, and what makes content “fire.”
- Agency experience preferred.
