Portico has a fabulous opportunity for an experienced INTERNAL TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST to add to our growing corporate team.
Job Overview:
Responsibilities include providing basic troubleshooting, remote assistance, and setup/configuration of various devices, including computers, iPads, printers, and phones. The role involves responding to tickets in the ticket system, supporting end users remotely, and contributing to special projects related to infrastructure, data management, and other IT initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Device Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software issues on computers, iPads, printers, phones, and other related equipment.
- Provide timely and effective technical support to end users.
Remote Assistance:
- Remotely connect to end user devices to assist in setup, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Ensure seamless remote support experience for end users.
Ticket Management:
- Respond to and complete tickets in the ticketing system within established timeframes.
- Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and resolutions for future reference.
Device Deployment:
- Setup and configure devices for deployment, ensuring proper functionality and user accessibility.
- Collaborate with the team to streamline deployment processes.
Network Support:
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of small networks and assist in resolving network-related issues.
- Collaborate with network administrators on more complex network tasks.
Special Projects:
- Contribute to special projects, including infrastructure improvements, data management initiatives, and other IT-related projects.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project objectives and timelines.
Microsoft 365 Expertise:
- Possess basic knowledge of the Microsoft 365 enterprise suite.
- Navigate and utilize administrative panels for user management and troubleshooting.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
- Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on computers, iPads, printers, and phones.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
- Basic understanding of small networks.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 suite and administrative panels.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem-Solving:
- Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to issue resolution.
- Team Collaboration:
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to team projects.

- Comfortable adapting to new technologies and evolving job responsibilities.
