With a rich 40-year history in the multifamily industry, FPA Multifamily is a privately held real estate investment firm that specializes in the acquisition, management, and repositioning of multifamily properties. We are focused on maximizing returns for investors through the acquisition of both opportunistic and core multifamily properties in select markets throughout the United States.
Work Environment: Full-time, remote position. Candidates must be in the Pacific Time Zone, FPA Multifamily is headquartered in San Francisco.
Salary: $65,000 – $74,000 annual base salary, commensurate with experience.
Travel Requirement: Minimal to none.
Position Summary
FPA Multifamily is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Acquisitions Administrative Coordinator to provide essential support to our acquisitions team. This role is critical in facilitating the high volume of transactions we evaluate each year. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent organizational and communication skills, and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
Responsibilities – Essential Functions
- Manage the execution of confidentiality agreements with brokers and counterparties.
- Draft letters of intent.
- Download and organize due diligence materials from multiple sources.
- Set up file directories and ensure consistent naming/organization standards across transactions.
- Maintain accurate tracking of pending and completed underwriting. Serve as the point of contact for administrative coordination between brokers, acquisitions team members, and external stakeholders.
- Perform other administrative and organizational duties to support the acquisitions process as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative, real estate, or transactions support role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with SharePoint, or other document management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to handle high-volume data and documents with accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting acquisitions, brokerage, or investment management teams.
- Familiarity with real estate documents and due diligence processes.
