Savvee Inc. is seeking a part-time Senior FTS Helpdesk Specialist to join our team in support of a high-profile federal government initiative, remotely. This position is responsible for delivering expert-level technical and procedural assistance to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant electronic submissions through the EDGAR system. The specialist will serve as a primary point of contact for corporate filers, law firms, and accounting firms in helping to resolve complex issues and enhance the overall filer experience.
- Providing expert technical and procedural support to the EDGAR filer community, addressing a wide range of inquiries.
- Resolving complex filer issues related to EDGAR submissions, including validation errors, submission status, and technical troubleshooting.
- Responding to inquiries via phone, email, and webbased ticketing systems, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues associated with EDGAR filings, escalating unresolved matters to internal teams as needed.
- Documenting all interactions and resolutions in the designated tracking system for transparency and continuous improvement.
- Guiding filers through EDGAR procedures, including form selection, submission preparation, and understanding validation rules.
- Processing and managing requests for all Form ID types and Escalated Filings (e.g., IDNEWCIK, IDLOSTACCESS, IDCTRLCHG, IDCONVERT, COUPDAT), ensuring accurate documentation and verification.
- Assisting filers with amending Form ID information and resolving issues related to forgotten or compromised Form IDs.
- Providing clear instructions on the Form ID application process and its significance within the EDGAR ecosystem.
- Educating filers on best practices for managing and securing Form IDs and access codes.
- Proactively identifying and addressing common errors or misunderstandings related to Form IDs.
- Serving as a subject matter expert for internal EBO teams, offering insights into filer needs and recurring issues.
- Collaborating with internal teams (technical development, legal, compliance) to address systemic issues and improve the filer experience.
- Identifying trends in filer inquiries and providing actionable feedback to enhance EDGAR system functionality and userfriendliness.
- Contributing to the improvement of support processes and documentation, ensuring uptodate and effective resources.
- Assisting in training new support staff on EDGAR processes and customer service best practices.
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.
- Expertise in EDGAR filing procedures and familiarity with SEC submission requirements
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience supporting electronic filing systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer service
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and adapt to evolving requirements
- A highly motivated selfstarter
- Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
