The Support Services Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities across departments. This role supports internal teams, coordinates logistics, and provides administrative assistance to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services to our clients.
Provide general administrative support to the Support Services and Operations teams
Assist in scheduling, tracking, and coordinating shipping and logistics for trade show materials
Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation in physical and digital formats
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to ensure timelines and quality standards are met
Assist with inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and basic data entry
Support event preparation, including packing, labeling, and shipping of materials
Help troubleshoot and resolve service issues with a customer-focused approach
Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficiency of JL Exhibit Services
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus
1–2 years of experience in an administrative, logistics, or customer service role preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and general computer literacy
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with light warehouse tasks as needed
