Responsibilities
- Assist Escrow Officer in preparing, reviewing, and processing escrow instructions and closing documents.
- Open escrow orders and maintain accurate transaction files.
- Communicate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other involved parties to gather required information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate document signings and disbursements of funds.
- Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and record keeping.
- Resolve routine issues and escalate complex matters to the Escrow Officer.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication throughout the transaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–2 years of escrow, title, or real estate experience (preferred but not always required).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and escrow software systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of real estate transactions, title procedures, and escrow practices (a plus).
