Trust Accounting Bookkeeper (Remote – Hourly or Contract, Wage Negotiable)
EHC Executive Services is a small but busy bookkeeping firm that keeps short-term rental property managers (mostly SkyRun franchises) organized and compliant. We handle trust accounting, QuickBooks, and all the chaos that comes with reconciling multiple bank accounts, owner statements, and properties that don’t sit still.
I’m looking for a self-sufficient bookkeeper who knows their way around trust accounting and QuickBooks and can keep up without me hovering. Track PMS experience would be great, but I can teach it if you’re willing to learn.
What you’ll actually be doing:
- Managing trust accounting for several property management clients (lots of moving parts)
- Reconciling bank, credit card, and PMS accounts
- Preparing owner payouts and financials on schedule
- Fixing discrepancies fast and keeping clean records
- Communicating like a grown-up (no disappearing acts)
What I’m looking for:
- 3+ years of real bookkeeping experience (trust accounting preferred)
- Strong QuickBooks skills (Online and Desktop)
- Track PMS experience or the willingness to learn it quickly
- Comfortable working remotely and hitting deadlines without someone chasing you
- Can handle the “organized chaos” that comes with property management
What’s on the table:
- Fully remote role, with flexible hours (just hit deadlines)
- Hourly or contract, pay negotiable based on experience
- I cover all the software you’ll need — you just bring your own computer and internet
- No traditional benefits right now (health insurance, PTO, 401k), but the schedule and flexibility tend to make up for it
