JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Sr. Manager Casino Finance at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you will be a key strategic partner for the iCasino team, providing financial analysis, budget management, and performance reporting. You will work closely with stakeholders across Casino Operations, Marketing, and Product to ensure financial objectives align with overall business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of gaming economics, promotional strategies, and player behavior to drive data-driven decision-making. Reporting to the SVP, Performance, you will play an integral role in optimizing our casino vertical's financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Finance business partner for the Casino division, supporting strategic initiatives and performance analysis.
- Manage financial processes such as month-end reporting, variance analysis, top line forecasting, and annual budget planning.
- Analyze casino marketing spend, ensuring efficient allocation of promotional budgets and tracking ROI on player acquisition and retention campaigns.
- Partner with Casino Analytics and Operations to analyze game performance, player trends, and bonus effectiveness, making recommendations to optimize revenue and profitability.
- Partner with Finance business partners and HR to manage and provide strategic insights on OPEX costs within the Casino P&L.
- Develop and maintain Casino-specific KPIs, ensuring visibility into financial performance, customer behavior, and promotional effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Fraud, Risk, and Payments teams to monitor financial impacts related to fraud prevention and responsible gaming initiatives.
- Track regulatory financial requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant gaming jurisdictions.
- Work closely with the broader Finance team to align casino financial strategies with overall company objectives.
- Manage competing priorities and provide clear, strategic guidance in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel occasionally to FBG offices, industry events, and team-building activities as needed.
Skills And Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related analytical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, ideally within online gaming, casino, or sports betting.
- Strong understanding of iCasino KPIs, gaming operations, and promotional mechanics.
- Experience analyzing casino marketing budgets and player lifetime value (LTV), retention, and churn metrics.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment with rapidly evolving priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
- Team-first mentality with a problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $150,000 to $180,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed).
