We’re looking to hire a Graphic Designer for a Fortune 500 Education client. Teams are very collaborative and have a passion for creating cutting edge customer experiences.
My direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Design team to craft high-quality print materials, including product sample packaging, marketing collateral, and other brand assets. You’ll have the chance to showcase your design expertise while working on a variety of projects that align with a leading brand's visual standards.. This is a 6 – month contract + extension. The team is located in California, and the role is fully remote. Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract.
Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality print materials, such as product packaging, marketing collateral, and brand assets, ensuring brand consistency across all materials.
- Present design concepts clearly, integrate feedback constructively, and collaborate with the team in a professional and creative manner.
- Use tools like Basecamp and SmartSheet to stay organized and manage project timelines efficiently.
- Create precise layouts, balancing text alignment, imagery, and branding for polished, cohesive designs for print and packaging.
- Adhering to brand guidelines
Graphic Designer Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional design experience
- Expertise in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
- Knowledge of print and print production (file setup, output specifications); font, layout for print
- Organizational skills, ensuring smooth collaboration and asset management.
- Proven print portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual communication.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality for print
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
