In our continued mission to deliver the best value, experience and opportunity for our communities, stakeholders and partners using customer insights and experience, we are seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide executive level support and liaise with the Senior Vice Presidents of Leasing and provide administrative support for the Vice Presidents of Leasing. This position will report directly to the SVP, Leasing with geographic flexibility to work remotely offered by Tanger’s hub-and-spoke approach to a modern Teams-driven workplace.
About the Role:
As the Senior Administrative Assistant, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our internal and external stakeholders on all scheduling matters and will plan, book, and coordinate travel and expenses for members of the Leasing Leadership team. This role will oversee the Leasing Coordinator and is also responsible for the execution, coordination, and management of special projects, analysis, and reporting.

How you will contribute to what we do:
- Serve as an integral partner by assisting SVPs with high touch executive support, relationship management, and development of key initiatives and action items.
- Oversee and direct the work and assigned responsibilities of the Leasing Coordinator who provides administrative support for the Leasing Team dealmakers.
- Attend high level confidential meetings: document notes, distribute action items and assign follow-ups to responsible parties.
- Research and follow up on incoming issues and concerns, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Act as proxy by prioritizing and determining the appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising judgment to reflect the SVP’s, Leasing’s style and organization policy.
- Work closely and effectively with both the Executive Assistant to EVP, Leasing and the Leasing Coordinator to keep the Leasing Leadership team well informed of upcoming deadlines, deliverables, commitments, and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Act as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping appropriate individuals updated.
- Manage, prioritize, and maintain extremely active and often complex and changing, daily schedules for the SVP’s; ensuring all relevant agendas and meeting materials completed prior to the meetings and are attached to meeting invitations.
- Coordinate and create custom decks for meetings and presentations for the Leasing leadership team
- Plan, coordinate and manage logistics for tenant tours, market visits, annual team meetings and ICSC events.
- Communicate with tenant partners to transmit information and coordinate meetings.
- Aid SVPs in maintenance of Leasing Bonus Program and tracking of leasing team members’ individual goals.
- Maintain Department Goal Scorecard and monitor key goals and objectives of the leasing team providing weekly status to the CEO and EVP of Leasing, and monthly status reports to the Leasing Leadership team.
- Aid SVPs in monitoring status of Renewals, New Deal Production, and other key business metrics used to measure performance of the Leasing Team.
- Act as the liaison with Marketing and Insights to ensure Lease Representatives receive the data and materials, they need for custom pitches
- Maintain and oversee departmental efforts requiring coordination and scheduling of complex meetings such as the budget and forecasting calendar and quarterly asset calls.
- Conduct research as directed by SVPs & VPs.
- Create and distribute various memos, letters, forms and spreadsheets
- Communicate and project manage multi-departmental tasks
- Oversee maintenance of CRM data integrity and accuracy
- Provide occasional onsite support for important meetings involving the LLT to include budget meetings, TASC Meeting, ICSC meetings, and any ad hoc special team meetings.
- Provide backup as needed to the EA supporting the EVP
- Act as cross-functional liaison to Leasing Leadership team (SVPs + VPs)
- Create/coordinate custom decks for meetings and presentations for the SVPs and VPs of Leasing.
- Book and coordinate travel and expenses for VPs of Leasing providing support for flight and travel plan changes.
- Oversee and occasionally provide Salesforce data entry and reporting support for the SVPs and VPs.
About You:
- You have a high school diploma and 5+ years of executive assistant experience, preferably within retail or commercial real estate. A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- You can travel up to 10% of your time by commercial airlines (for site visits, meetings, etc.).and have a valid driver’s license
- You are proficient with various software's including Microsoft Office Suite, MRI, Nexus, and Concur. Additional experience in Salesforce and PowerBI is preferred.
- Your exceptional organizational skills reflecting an ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly is a strength.
- You have strong research and analytical skills with the ability to understand and analyze a wide variety of data points.
- You can run reports, synthesize information, and create executive summaries.
- You have strong interpersonal skills and can build relationships with stakeholders, staff, board members, and external partners.
- You have experience managing budgets and expenses.
- You have a proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.
- You have a demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- You are a forward thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.

Hiring Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Tanger's total compensation package for employees.
Hiring Range: $75,600 - $112,500 per year
