Position Summary:
MagellanTV is seeking a creative and data-driven Content Strategist to play a pivotal role in enhancing member engagement and increasing product adoption. The ideal candidate is a master storyteller with expertise in audience research, content creation, and multi-channel strategy. Excellent writing skills and experience with Hubspot are requirements. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our content resonates with audiences and strengthens MagellanTV’s position as the premier destination for documentary lovers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage HubSpot CRM and Retention Marketing Calendar: Ensure timely, targeted campaigns that align with product releases and promotions.
- Develop Automated User Journeys: Create highly targeted user journeys and write compelling, on-brand copy for email, push notifications, SMS, and retargeting efforts.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Use CRM platforms to build, deploy, and refine campaigns in close collaboration with designers, product managers, marketing specialists, and developers.
- Optimize Campaign Performance: Continuously enhance engagement and conversions through A/B testing and data-driven improvements.
- Provide data-driven insights: Support marketing team specialists, ensuring alignment with marketing leaders and strategic objectives.
- Research and Analyze Audiences: Through ongoing research and member analysis, identify user behavior that leads to tailored experiences and offers
- Plan and Execute Social Media Strategies: Develop and manage social media plans that complement retention marketing efforts, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging across all platforms.
- Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and streaming user experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Humanities, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in content strategy, product marketing, or a similar role
- Expert-level knowledge of HubSpot
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Proven audience research skills and the ability to translate insights into effective content strategies.
- Proficiency in managing social media platforms and content calendars.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis to make informed decisions
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Creative and strategic thinking ability to drive innovation in content creation and distribution.

Salary Range:
$65k - $90k, depending on experience.
Location:
In-Office/Hybrid preferred; Remote for the right candidate.

- Final Interview with senior leadership.
