PSBP Law is a boutique business, securities, real estate, and immigration law firm based in Texas, representing clients nationwide. Our Securities Department handles a high volume of transactional and regulatory work, and we are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Legal Assistant to support our attorneys with administrative and case-related tasks.

Position Overview

We are looking for a part-time remote legal assistant to support our Securities team with document preparation, client communication, file management, and general administrative support. This position will start at approximately 20–25 hours per week, with the possibility of increased hours based on workload and performance.

Responsibilities

Save and organize incoming documents in NetDocuments (client emails, law firms, Texas SOS, Paracorp).
Prepare, invoice, and file Blue Sky filings once client payment is received.
Submit entity formations through Paracorp and maintain related tracking spreadsheets.
Issue invoices for formations and securities filings.
Submit notarized SEC Form IDs received from clients.
Assist with client intake and project tracking (schedule intake calls, send engagement letters and invoices, update Trello matter status).
Monitor task timelines and send 3-day follow-ups to attorneys and clients regarding document reviews and securities filings.

Requirements

Prior legal assistant or administrative experience preferred
Experience in securities, corporate, or transactional law is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PDF editing
Comfortable working with deadlines and high-volume workflow

Preferred Experience (Strong Plus):

Experience supporting securities, corporate, or transactional attorneys
Familiarity with SEC filings (Form D, Form ID) and Blue Sky filings
Experience working with entity formations (Delaware and other states)
Prior experience with NetDocuments, Trello, Clio, or other legal document management systems
Experience coordinating client intake, engagement letters, and invoicing for legal matters
Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and tracking regulatory filings

Work Schedule

Approximately 20–25 hours per week
Flexible schedule during business hours (CST preferred)
Opportunity for additional hours depending on department needs

Compensation:

Hourly, based on experience
