Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant with excellent communication skills to support our intellectual property law boutique. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, thorough, practical, independent and have strong interpersonal skills/emotional intelligence. New York City vicinity preferred.

Duties Include

Drafting correspondence to clients
Generating client invoices and reconciling payments
Assisting with financial record-keeping
Communicating with clients
Opening new client matters
Conducting conflict checks
Maintaining records
Assisting with monitoring deadlines
Creating and documenting administrative practices to facilitate successful operation of the firm

Qualifications

Proven experience in an administrative role, with strong clerical skills and office experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with QuickBooks, bookkeeping
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
Attention to detail for proofreading documents
Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks

Pay: $23.72 - $30.00 per hour
