Global Neurosciences Institute (GNI) is looking for a Toxin (Botox) Administrative Coordinator. This part-time (30 hours per week) position focuses on managing the entire process of working with patients and their insurance providers in order to obtain pre-approvals / certifications for toxin injections for a busy neurology practice. All aspects of the process including extensive communications with individual patients, submission of medical records, managing toxin inventory levels, etc. to successfully obtain approvals for injections is a requirement. This role plays an integral role in improving patient satisfaction and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care as well as enhances the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities:

Managing pre-approval process on a timely basis to maximize number of patients per session requiring toxin injections
Provide information and assistance to patients and families
Triage patient concerns via telephone or electronic communication
Schedule patient appointments following successfully obtaining pre-certifications
Manage toxin inventory with vendors including specialty pharmacies to make certain toxin is available
Serve as support for clinical staff

Education Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Ideal candidate:

Background within customer service in a healthcare setting
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar toxin coordination role
