Senior VoIP Network Engineer

Location: Latin America (Remote)

Work Setup: Remote

Schedule: Dayshift or Nightshift

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience as a Network/VoIP Engineer or Specialist
Experience in managed services support
Strong understanding of Layer 2 switching, NAT, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and WiFi networks
Knowledge of networking protocols, VLANs, QoS, and VPN
Experience with diagnostic tools (ping, traceroute, MTR, telnet, port scanning, etc.)
Hands-on experience with Cradlepoint, Ubiquiti, and Meraki
Proficient in network design and implementation
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
English Level: C1 (advanced proficiency required)

Duties and Responsibilities

Handle client calls, emails, and support tickets related to network and VoIP issues
Troubleshoot issues involving internet connectivity, VoIP systems, and network devices
Configure and manage PBX systems, phone provisioning, and number porting
Diagnose VoIP issues such as phone registration, IVR setup, audio quality, and SIP/RTP connectivity
Troubleshoot firewalls, switches, and WiFi devices
Monitor and follow up on support tickets to ensure timely resolution
Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and customer interactions
Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary
Assist in provisioning and deployment of network equipment for new clients
