· Product sourcing
· Following up on purchases and ensuring they are as ordered
· Attending to departmental product and services requirements
· Liaising with supply vendors with regards to prices and payments made to them
· Purchase supply of products/materials.
· Determine the lowest cost for products/materials.
· Track and record orders.
· Receive orders and document arrivals.
· Analyse market and delivery systems.
· Source and interview vendors; negotiate contracts and costs.
· Procurement processes (sourcing, due diligence and purchasing)
