With the training I took when I was at the ADMIN office, helped me developed my knowledge and grew in my role. I took the challenge to handle the clinic by myself because we were short staff due to COVID. I was responsible to open the clinic, check in clients, customer service in person and by phone, schedule next appointments for Doctors and Clinicians, prepare application packages for Intake Coordinator, collected signatures and verify License Credentials were up to date, pick up mail and distribute, labels, Data Entry, Scan applications, discharged clients when they completed their course, process Finance Evaluation, run reports, took executive decisions when manager was not around, assisted Manager with special projects, drive to headquarters to pick up COVID supplies, tracking meeting minutes, order office supplies as needed,
trained new hires, requesting clients records to HIM department, send clients notification letters when they were a No Show. Respond quickly to emails and requests.
After passing probation, I decided to pursue my growth at an Admin level, I requested a transfer and was able to get accepted at IRIS Liaison Team.

Working for the Health Care Agency for Children and Youth was new to me; however, I had the opportunity to learn everything from scratch by taking trainings and getting familiar with the new program. Run reports, minute meetings, I open and close the office, pick up mail and sort it out alphabetically, distribute incoming faxes requests, twice a month I was responsible to provide coverage to 7th floor headquarters with phone assistance and special projects, customer service over the phone, lock and protected PI information, took Eureka trainings to develop my knowledge in outlook, MS Word, Excel and apply my new skills when it was required, since COVID happened, my was always telecommuting, however, that gave me the opportunity to cross train with the adults Team, I assisted re-arrange all the charts, pick up mail and stamp it with today’s date, I was always positive, energetic and had great attitude and assisted the agency needs. respond quickly to e-mails and requests.
Due to COVID, my department closed, however, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to transition to CYS North Region Clinic to complete my 6 months’ probation.

Social Services Agency-Data Entry
Building opener, pre-screen Medical and Cal-fresh applications before adding the clients in our system, prepared application by printing MEDS record, printing program records, then App-Reg the applications, hand deliver it to the Board, and the Board would assign it to the next available Eligibility worker. I was responsible to Processed different applications daily, Mail-in applications, Inter-County transfer application, Special Minor application, DDS Waiver, Social Security applications, CalWORKs Denials, Telephone applications and confidential applications. Data Entry, file applications alphabetically, created guides for new hires, train new hires, run reports, responsible for Quality checks for report errors, Backup Secretary when needed, provided admin support with reserving conference rooms, updating attendance, taking messages, preparing training packets for their trainings, provide forms requested by employees, and work for special projects and finish them on time. Assisted the Board to assigned new Medical and Cal Fresh application and help deliver them to the eligibility workers.
